Energy is vital to being productive and living a vibrant life. But the holidays can zap your energy so fast. You have to find how NOT to zap your energy. What works and what doesn't work. Too many deadlines, and the naughty and nice list gets more complicated. And then there's normal life. That just doesn't go away, as much as we wish it would. So let's look at how NOT to zap your energy. In doing that, we have to look at what does zap your energy.

• excessive committments
• binge eating (too much sugar)
• extra late nights alway

It would be great if you could wave your magic wand and everything would be A.O.K.!!! But life doesn't work that way. Now I could tell you to ....

• hydrate often (drink half your body weight in ounces of water)
• eat green leafy vegetables
• stay away from processed foods (shop the perimeter of the grocery store)
• include a protein with every meal and snack
• get your exercise in at least 3x a week
• walk daily
• devotion/meditation/yoga/stretching

But the problem is --- you don't have the time, nor the energy to create a whole new lifestyle with the demands of the holidays too. It just doesn't work. And now that you know what doesn't work in creating a whole new lifestyle... Then what really works during the holidays is  The K.I.S.S. ~ D.E.C.K. the halls and recharge you!

1. DO what you know.
2. ENTER rest, remove the stress.
3. CREATE joy.
4. KNOW your limits.
