Join us at Women of IMPACT. http://facebook.com/groups/thewomenofimpact  This move has stretched my patience not with all the chaos that comes from moving, but as a parent.  My children were old enough this move to actually participate in every process we went through. And thank goodness, the moving trucks are no more. After one complete tractor trailer and another 1/2 a load, we are moved in with boxes at every turn. However, what I loved most about this process is seeing my children step up to the plate. They had to figure out solutions for problems that came up. They had to go without restful sleep and learn the hard way of survival by fire. Little sleep and that was very unusual for them.  On top of all that, some of their wifi would be down for days. And yes, they even survived talking to each other.  Sometimes as parents, we place boundaries on what our children can or cannot do. We don't mean to do that. But what we see as an obstacle might be a simple pebble in the way. Be careful not to lay blame or place restrictions on your children, your husband, and even yourself. Give them and you credit for what can be done and what's been tried. That doesn't mean you will always get it right the first time. But you will learn so many valuable lessons along the way.  And it's those lessons that are best taught in real life. The K.I.S.S. ~ Learn by F.I.R.E.!

1. FALL into opportunities with optimism. Don't let what you don't know stop you from taking a chance, experiencing something new, or challenging yourself to 
2. IGNITE the hope of the unknown. Be excited for the unexpected. "Expect the unexpected!"
3. RISE to the occasion. You can do more than you ever think possible. So stretch yourself.
4. EQUIP your mind, body, and spirit. Be aware of what God is doing in your life; the doors He is opening and closing. Seek His goodness, not your greatness.
