Tears streamed down my face as I heard report after report after report. A Florida high school massacre. How can a nation so rich in opportunity and making dreams come true have such tragic incidences? I couldn't help but think about my babies. We're new to a community and the what ifs steamrolling my mind. The unthinkable! But there is hope in tragedy. I picked up my son from high school and he said he was reading an article regarding this horrific incident. And in the conversation, he shared the story of a coach who saved students' lives by shielding them. He said, "Mom, it's simple. Put others first." The K.I.S.S. ~ Put others first!

• BE PRESENT. God gave you one heart to feel the beat.
