There is nothing like coming home! Open arms filled with love. No expectations other than to be you! That's the kind of homecoming everyone longs for. Or is it one that makes you want to stay away a little longer? I was reminded yesterday what it feels like coming home. Unconditional love with only hope for what's to come. Not everything perfect, but everything perfectly imperfect. You see, our oldest son came home yesterday. The feeling was exhilarating and thrilling. It brought back vivid memories of when he was born, and they placed him in my arms. But this time, he was wrapping me up in his arms. Immediately, I understood how God feels when His child has been gone, absent, or strayed away from home. Yet God never fails to welcome His child coming home. No excuses, no circumstances, nor actions can keep you from God.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Coming home!! It's the most beautiful feeling in the world. The comfort and love is indescribable. The understanding and patience is beyond anything you can imagine. Hope exudes from every dark corner.  Today's reflection: Have you been running in the wrong direction? And this wrong direction doesn't necessarily mean you are doing something bad or against the law, or even against moral beliefs. Maybe you've been trying to do things your way, and left God out of the picture.  Maybe you've been chasing down all the possibilities in life without consulting your Heavenly Father.  Coming home! There's nothing more precious in His sight than you coming home. "I know I'm running a little late. But I'm coming home." So I really want to challenge you to reflect on how you're living life. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
