Even when you think you have everything you need; all the tools and strategies, all the strength and endurance, plus the talent, you fall short. As moms, that is an all too familiar place. A comfy spot we wish we didn't have to experience on a monthly, weekly, even daily basis.  What is it? Just when you think you don't have anything to worry about, something else happens.  Will you ever catch a break? Motherhood never had it in the contract of catching a break. In fact, it's more of enduring multiple storms and sometimes even hurricanes.   And with it all comes waves of tears. What do you do when everything around you seems to be tumbling down? You feel more buried in distress, and hope isn't even present. It's a dark cloudy day, every day! What's important that we must comprehend is this is all normal. You didn't do anything wrong to be in this situation. And you didn't do anything right to be in this situation. Life happens! But remember, it's your response which makes a difference in you going down either a depressing rabbit hole or looking up to a beautiful ray of hope. We want the sunshine more than the gloomy, cloudy days. Let's leave that for Halloween night.  So what can you do as a woman and mom to support the ones you love without losing yourself? The K.I.S.S. ~ S.T.I.R. your heart! S.T.I.R. your heart to stay grounded!
- SAVOR what matters. Put in perspective what really matters. Don't dwell in what you can't control.
- TRIM off the extra. Get rid of what you don't need. Minimize in order to maximize. Circumstances can make you feel like time stops. But time keeps on going. 
- IGNITE now. What is the priority for this moment?
- REMEMBER daily. You must remind yourself of the good, not the bad. Count your blessings! Say a prayer.
