The "not good enough" attitude shows up bigger leading you down the rabbit hole of pity parties and self-hatred. Life. On purpose. A challenging command to live out your purpose with each step you take. Last week on Episode #1381, we talked about living your dreams and how you do it with direction.   However, we forget about a very pivotal tipping point when it comes to our response in the direction we're taking on our dreams. That response is electrically charged by emotions. Are your emotions influencing your direction? Silly question! Right?!? No. It's just not a normal question we ask when it comes to looking at our dreams and how we live out our lives. We think that what we are feeling helps to "connect" or "draw us in" to what the next step should be. But..... What happens if the emotions are negatively-driven? Do you coward away from your purpose/dreams, because you don't feel ....

• confident
• worthy
• good enough
• like an expert

The excuses with the charged emotions then begin to dictate what you focus on. Now you don't just have a question as to what's the next step. But you have to defuse your emotions to engage in your direction. The K.I.S.S. ~ Defuse your emotions to engage in your direction! This allows you to reduce the the heated emotions. Tempering down your:

• frustration
• anger
• blame
• hostility
• comparison
• fear
• sadness
• distrust
• anxiety
• guilt

"One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" But how do you defuse your emotions so you can take that ONE step to engage in your direction?

1. Put your emotions in their place. This comes with maturity. You don't want your emotions going to battle for you, because you might be battling for the wrong thing. Your emotions have a place and can be a very important tool.
2. Don't attach your emotions to your next step. Your emotions DO NOT decide your next step. Connect your heart and mind, and make an informed decision; thought process.
3. Push forward. Make your decisions based on igniting your dream, your purpose. 

Some of the issues is YOU!! And that means your emotions are dominating your decisions.  You want to clear your head and look at your purpose and dreams with clarity, not a mumble, jumble mess of heightened hormones.  Because your dreams and purpose will fade into the skyline of emotions. You will lose. Not your emotions, your dream! You were created on purpose, for a purpose.
