But a TON more is good. The problem is escaping the negative and letting the good rise above. Unshakeable hope! What breaks your everyday? What keeps you down when you should be walking your journey? Most of our hang-ups come from our own insecurities. We focus so much on what we can't do or what we didn't accomplish that it blinds our perspective for what really is happening. • The bills you have to pay.
• The tough conversation you need to have with your husband.
• The sick and tired feeling that clogs your heart with desperation.
• The children who tests your patience.
• The UPS guy who didn't deliver what you order two days ago.

Oh how it's easy to let all the stuff get under your skin and rub you the wrong way. All your problems put a freeze on your hope. Because how can you have hope when you're in a mess? I had a chat with my freezer repairman. And in our conversation, he shared how he lived a very tough life. But one thing he said that stood out, "I don't see how anyone can get through their day without hope. The hope only God can give." The K.I.S.S. ~ Unshakeable hope! Now this isn't a conversation most people would have with their repairman. But between exchanging the motherboard of my freezer to talking about writing a book, he questioned. "Why would anyone want to read what I have to say? Maybe I'm just too stupid to talk about it." You see, he had a hard life. And God got his attention with his health. Unfair or not, the reality was beyond REAL when he faced death. "Some people question if there is any hope. My hope is found in God. I don't know how anyone gets through their day without Him." Unshakeable hope! What are you going through today? What are you wishing would just go away? Give up the whining that nothing will get better. Hope is not in what you can do yourself, or what you can control.  Hope is found in God's gift of eternal life. Put your hope in God's unfailing love. (Psalm 147:11) Dear Lord, Bless me each morning when I rise to see the best of what's to come. May your hope bring light to the darkness. Awaken my heart with a fire to live for you.
