One thing I love is chatting with other mothers (and fathers), and listening to their stories. What they love about how they raised their children, and what they wished they had done differently. It's the good, the bad, and the ugly of parenting. A recent conversation with my flower gal, she shared with me what she told her children.  And I couldn't help but think how powerful this would be in a child's life and our own. She said, "I tell my children as they go off for the day, 'Make a memory and a difference.'" The K.I.S.S. ~ Make a memory and a difference! How beautiful! Think about how that statement could impact your day to day.
- Make a memory. Be present. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. But you have THIS moment. Make a memory. Be present in the moment. 
- Make a difference. Go out and impact the world that you touch. 
- Be YOU!!! Love your child, love your spouse, love yourself right where they are. Forcing them to be someone they are not only complicates their life. 
What do you tell your children as they head out for the day at school? What do you tell your spouse as he goes to conquer the world?
