- Create your healthy, holiday boundaries. What is your goal for this season? What do you not want to complain about at the end of the season when you're taking down the tree and the lights?
- Control your schedule. Don't let anyone "guilt" you into doing something that goes against your holiday boundaries. Saying NO is your best friend!
- Care for yourself first. Yes, the children are important. Your spouse is important. But if you are running yourself ragged, no one is going to have a joyful holiday season. Now if you feel guilty, then include your family in your seasonal self-care (i.e., massage, manicure, HIIT workout, naptime, etc.).
