Plans change.  But just because plans change doesn't mean your goal has to. It's all about the direction; how you'll get there. Change your direction. One Christmas many years ago, I remember when all the craze was Elmo. He could sing and dance and do so many other things. At the time, our oldest would have loved it. Everywhere I went, they didn't have it. Now if you recall, that was way before the internet as we know it. You actually had to go to the store or call to order it. It was nearly impossible. Christmas came and a special package arrived from Uncle Brian. Somehow, Uncle Brian found the ONLY Elmo left in all of the United States of America.  Keilyn loved it! Elmo brought her so many smiles. I couldn't find it. My husband couldn't find it. Yet we never gave up. The family searched long and hard; in stores they never thought would carry it. And sure enough, Elmo was found. The goal achieved. Just because obstacles get in the way doesn't mean you have to abandon your dreams and goals. All you have to do is .... The K.I.S.S. ~ Change your direction! What is your "Elmo"? It would be nice if it was as simple as a stuffed dancing toy. But your "Elmo" is very different. So when obstacles arise, when those brick walls seem insurmountable, change your direction. Don't lose your goal or your dream. Keep your eye on the prize. What are you going after? You most certainly can get there. I've had many dreams and goals in my lifetime. And I'm sure many more will come. But there are those few that stick to you like glue. You can't shake the feeling it gives your heart when you talk about it. You can't help but dream about it anywhere, anytime with a smile. So dream your dreams. Go for your goals! This is the beginning of a season of hope! Unwrap your dream. Open up your heart.
