At times you feel like all is awesome, and at other times you are drowning. "Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle." ~ Napoleon Hill And by golly, there is a ton of effort and struggle every day. However, parenting is the best, in good and bad times. It's all in the perspective. How are you looking at your situation? When you're in the depths of heartaches and headaches, be willing to go the extra mile.  Nothing is easy, but there is strength in numbers. So do the H.A.R.D. well! The K.I.S.S. ~ Do the H.A.R.D. well! It would be fantastic if you could flip a switch and everything would make sense. But parenting requires flexibility. Not every child and every situation are the same. You must become adaptable. And that means change is constant.

1. Honor your child. Celebrate who he/she is no matter the circumstance or situation. Find the good in the terrible. Lift them up when everyone else is tearing them down. Keep your word.
2. Ask for help from wise counsel. Bring in your recruits. It might be family or even the family pets. "Walk with the wise and become wise." ~ Proverbs 13:20
3. Respond in love. We don't always understand the why in the moment. So love them where they're at. No conditions. At the same time, this can be tough love too. This will be remember after all has calmed down.
4. Discipline your actions. Keep the consistency in your parenting and with your child. What you say is what you do. Take responsibility as to your reactions. This will stand out most at the beginning. 

You don't have to do life alone when it comes to parenting. Find people whom you trust and create your army of love.  "Train for life.
