God is faithful and He wants us to experience the commitment He has for His bride as we do in marriage. I can't help but see how much God's actions are to be mirrored in our marriages.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Honor your spouse!  Honoring your spouse is seeing him/her from the perspective of choice, not by obligation. This comes from a place of respect and service.  God chose His bride, the church. You chose your spouse and made a commitment. However, with the choice come responsibilities that are not always the easiest to live out by words and actions. Yet you can honor your spouse and remain faithful to one another through unity, sacrifice, and love. UNITY: Embrace your spouse's unique gifts. Don't try and make your spouse the way you want him/her to become. Let him/her live out God's plan for his/her life with his/her talents.  SACRIFICE: Live a selfless life. Give more and serve more. There's no keeping score.  LOVE: See your spouse through God's eyes. God loved you first so you too can love.  Over the next few days, really look at how you can honor and remain faithful to one another. See the cross differently in your marriage.  "Be present.
