Life keeps moving at a speed where it's hard to slow down. However, when you are in a committed relationship, slowing down and noticing your sweetheart is vital. My husband had to go out of town this weekend. He had planned to take one of the kiddos. But they were not excited about the trip. Instead of having a child go and be fussy the whole time, I suggested that I go. My sweet hubby was surprised that I would even suggest it since our daughter and grandbaby are visiting.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Do whatever it takes!  We were not going to be gone the entire weekend and they were still going to stay a few more days after we returned. So why wouldn't I go and support my husband? Some spouses would have taken the short road and stayed home for mere convenience.  When you are committed, do whatever it takes.
