But in all seriousness, we become warped with what matters least instead of focusing on what matters most.  I have been battling the flu the last couple of days. I am feeling better. However, it's been a great reminder of why we do what we do in life.
- How we parent.
- How we lead in our community.
- How we show up at work.
- How we live out our dreams.
- How we raise our family.
There is great sacrifice and service, which combined, helps to seek peace and pursue it.  The K.I.S.S. ~ Seek peace and pursue it! But little do we recall the struggles of yesterday to help lead what we do today. In fact, we just wrap ourselves up in the "stuff of life" and press forward. And sometimes, we need to do that. However, I believe we are leaving a lot on the table when it comes to serving our fellow man and ourselves. We look too much at the short term and forget the effect of the long term. What would happen if you led with the long term in mind? Would there be fewer developments and more concerns for others' way of life? Would there be greater relationships with less animosity toward one another? Would there be more patience and less reckless outrage for selfish pursuits? All are deep questions for a better day. So today, I challenge you to seek peace and pursue it. Look for what you can do in your every day to impact the world that you touch. Your touch does matter! Be persistent and consistent with how you live.  Because this life is worth living, not just for yourself, but for others. "Be present. Be incredible.
