- Laundry left in the dryer and not folded; more wrinkles.
- Dinner at 5:30 pm really means 6:15 pm.
- Bedtime routine completed on time, but really it's 30 minutes later on average.
- School work is done before it's due; nope wait until the last minute.
- Date night kept on the schedule; more like every other month.
This is everyday life; beautiful, but complicated. Yet what I find is there is more beauty than complication if we leave the details to God. The K.I.S.S. ~ Leave the details to God! Psalm 37:23-24 NLT 23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly.
    He delights in every detail of their lives.
24 Though they stumble, they will never fall,
    for the Lord holds them by the hand. God wants to be in your details. And the only person who gets in the way of that is you.  I hear God saying ....  Walk with Me! Leave the details to Me! It was interesting as we were out walking yesterday; Papa, Grandma, and grandson. And can I just say how independent our grandson wants to be? But as we walked together, he began to realize if he held our hands, there was no worry of a fall and a scraped knee.  The same goes with God when He extends His hand. He is there to catch you. Yesterday early morning I was picking blueberries from our trees. They have been delicious this year. I allowed myself to go into God's presence and see the details with heavenly eyes. And I must say that the berries looked even better than what I saw a week ago. The differentiation in colors as they grow. The clump of berries helps support each other as they mature.
As the wind blows, the leaves kept the pesky bugs away. If God created blueberry trees to be so intricate, don't you think He desires to be intertwined in the details? God delights in the details. So stop worrying and start praying. Let God in on the details because His plan is always the best plan. "Be present. Be incredible.
