- Be PRESENT in your marriage. Don't shoot for the stars. Look at where you are. Be present in every moment. Don't rush to get always from point A to point B. Sometimes it's good to hang out where you are and be grateful for what you have.
- Be GRATEFUL for your marriage. It's easy to carry a chip on your shoulder when you think your spouse isn't doing something right. See your spouse for his/her strengths. And be gracious with his/her weaknesses.
- Be VULNERABLE with your spouse. This is where you don't shut out your spouse. Instead, you open yourself up for love and to be loved.
