Have you ever had the longing for more in your life? If you could have a better marriage, lose weight, get that perfect job, have your dream home, win the Powerball, life would be perfect. Longing is a yearning desire, a craving, an ache. It reminds me of that sweet tooth urge or craving. That coffee you have to have NOW or your life will be miserable. You can't suppress it. You want it badly, desperately. When you have a longing, you try and fill the void with stuff --- food, shopping, a new car, new shoes, new home. Nothing satisfies you! Longings can be relational, spiritual, physical, financial, educational, promotional. For example: What about a longing in your marriage? Your business? Your lifestyle?
