Ugh! How much more must you cram into your day? If you don't have enough to do, the frustration continues to grow, yet you push through. Out of the pit you climb. At least that is your hope. No matter how hard you try, you always seem to fall short of accomplishing your lists. So how do you get out of the pit? The pit of stress. The pit of "must dos". The pit of self-induced pressure. When you are in the pit, your body begins to respond to the pit. You may find:

• You have an upset stomach, having troubles in the bathroom.
• You are craving way too much sugary goods.
• You get aggrevated easily, short-tempered. Cranky 101.
• You can't sleep.
• You have low or no energy.
• You are worn out!!!

How do you get out of the pit and survive? What's best for stress? As much as you don't want to hear it... The K.I.S.S. ~ Rest is best for stress! SSHH!!

1. Shake off the negative mindsets, the self-defeating mindsets.
2. Set boundaries. (Yes you will have to say NO!)
3. Hold on to your priorities. (Beware! This is usually what we give up first.)
4. Have faith

"He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along." ~ Psalm 40:2 Don't let this holiday season be an excuse to give up what God sees as His priorities. Your well-being is His priority.
