Practice makes perfect is a phrase I heard over and over again growing up. Now we both know that we will never reach perfect. However, there is one way you can reach perfection! I think about how much information we are consuming on a daily basis. There was a study conducted by researchers at the University of California - San Diego (2008) where they discovered the average American's information consumption is 34 gigabytes a day! We are inundated with so much information we don't know what to do. You day becomes complicated before you even think about the to-do list and the goals of the day. And yet, we keep hearing "practice makes perfect"! The "practice makes perfect" is not about the process of doing the action, but it's about being YOU! "There are so many different types of perfect, and the only type of perfect you can be is your own." So when your feet hit the ground ready to conquer your day --- think about how you can be the best you can be, your best selfie. It's not about running towards someone else's life. It's about running your own race, your marathon of life where practice makes perfect. The K.I.S.S. ~ Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!! Let go of the distractions of what everyone else is doing. Embrace the you God sees.

1. Be willing to work harder on what YOU can do.
2. Focus on your strengths, and strengthen your weaknesses.
3. Fix your mind on whose you are; a child to a King, the Most High. The creator of this world.
