Happy Mother's Day! On a special day like this, you always wonder what moms really want. Even my husband asked me what I wanted. I quickly responded, "Seriously...Nothing! Parenting Magazine included a spa day, a clean house, a day to herself, sleep, a day off from the mom routine, carwash, a hone-DONE list, and dinner planned and fixed for a week. Now all of that sounds fabulous! But what does mom really want? What does she hope for? Mother's Day was officially established in the United States in 1914 where President Woodrow Wilson signed it into law. However, Anna Jarvis (daughter of Ann Reeves Jarvis) started the movement to honor her mother. Every girl was presented with a white carnation when they were in church. What would moms really want if we took it back to the golden olden days where it all began? Faith and Love! Are we doing our part for those who are placed in our path? The K.I.S.S. ~ Reflection!
