Hopefully you have something special planned for the Dad in your life, and your children's lives.  The first Father's Day was recognized as a holiday in 1972 by President Nixon.  Regardless of where you are with your relationship, Father's Day may be a time for forgiveness, healing, love, and grace. Reach out to your father. You don't want to wait until it's too late. The K.I.S.S. ~ Celebrate the Dad in Your Life!

1. Infant to 2 years - Create a flower garden with their finger prints. Write something sweet on it and place it in the frame. Priceless!
2. 2 years - 4 years - Color a favorite picture for Dad. 
3. 5 years on up - Allow them to write a words that describe Dad.
4. Build with Legos and create something special for him
5. Cook something special, maybe it's breakfast. Yummy!!
6. If your father has passed on, write a letter expressing your thoughts and memories. You can even send it to your mother (if appropriate).
7. If you are astranged from your father, maybe this is the time to begin the healing. Start with a simple card saying, "I know our lives haven't been perfect, but I want you to know I still care." Continue with warm thoughts from the heart. You can do this!
