There are calls for Christchurch to get on and build the city's multi-use arena.
The plan is back before the Christchurch City Council today.
There are calls for a U-turn on the decision several weeks ago to proceed with a 25-thousand seat stadium – rather than the initial concept of 30-thousand.
Crusaders Chief Executive Colin Mansbridge told Mike Hosking he just wants the stadium built.
“If it’s 25, let’s get on and build 25. If it’s 30, even better, let’s get on and build 30.”
If the stadium plan is restored to 30,000 seats $50 million would be added to the $473 million budget.
