A Veterans Day edition of Sonstein Sunday:
Emmy/Tony winner Jeffrey Wright (“Angels In America”/”Westworld”/”Boardwalk Empire”) helped veterans create a collaborative poem which they performed under his direction. The show was called “We are Not Done Yet.” The making of it was turned into a doc by the same name, which is airing now on all HBO platforms. Veteran April Harris shares her experiences and how the project helped with her healing.

And Angela Green of Wantagh has been an Army reservist for 33 years. She was a NYPD rookie on 9/11 when she responded to the terror attack. Afterwards she did tours of Iraq & Afghanistan. Sadly, she has joined the thousands of First Responders fighting for their lives because of 9/11 health issues. Angela (with attorney Michael Barasch) shares her story with us.
