They'll present their concerns to the Government at the Local Government New Zealand conference in Blenheim today.
Southland Mayor Gary Tong says told Mike Hosking on issues like water reforms and significant natural areas, councils feel left in the dark.
“At the moment, there’s a lack of information around and you know, we look at the funding stuff as well.”
