And from early next year, our borders will slowly reopen to the rest of the world.
The National Party believes there's merit in setting a number on how many people need to be jabbed, before that happens.
But Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson told Mike Hosking a target won't give us what we want.
“We run a real risk of complacency if people think we’re just going to open up no matter how many people are vaccinated, we need as many people as possible to be vaccinated.”
