The author of Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies, Dame Hilary Mantel, will explore how a writer combines fact with imagination during the BBC Reith Lectures.



She tells Sarah Montague that historical records are "not neutral but are interpretations from historians" and argues that "novelists make this interpretation transparent".
